Finished putting in the brushless system and went to test it outside and its raining. Just made a few passes, with rollovers at the end and its nuts on wet pavement. If I gas it from 3/4 of throttle I just spin the rear wheels. On carpet it will lift the front end. A part on the rear axle was cracked so I attacked it with some 30 minute epoxy. It held but after a few rollovers its failing already. Just ordered the part but now I will need a new gear case and Tower is backordered.

I love this truck! It is so fun to drive.

It handled the power fine...the gears that is. I was doing a high speed pass watching the suspension soak up the bumps when it hit dip and I had slightly turned the wheel and it must have flipped 8 or 9 times. Figured for sure something was messed up. The roof light bar bent back and I cracked the body in two places. The body can be epoxied from the inside, plus it looks well used I used a pair of pliers to gently bend the bar back in place. Overall not to shabby. Little bummed that I cracked the body. It is a huge handfull at anything above 1/2 throttle. I plan on setting the speed control on all the low settings and just taking it easy. It is meant to be driven but I would feel horrible if I ruined the truck. It is just so much fun to see it driving fast though.

Here are a few photos after running today.

i have always wanted to make one like this but have never had the time or money. That looks like a really great truck. very scale! and the fact that it functions just as well as it looks is even better!

you know if you were in a full sized wreck that flipped 8 times, I don't know if you'd live to tell about it
