I've already gotten pics, ran it about 10 minutes on my lunch break, crawling over a curb and have even rolled it once on pavement I'll post the pics after I get off work tonight, but that may not be untill after 10pm (I'm closing and going to the gym after words) The money may be a bit of a pain to count tonight since I paid for the truck with the cash I saved up from selling my Rusty, some of my plastic models, and diecasts

Dang it......May have to buy a new charger real soon. My 5_1/2 year old 959 might have just bought the farm:-( This thing has been dead nuts reliable for me the whole time I've had it and put up with all sorts of abuse that this store and myself have inflicted on it!

Maybe not, I may have just gotten it a little hot just now

I've only had the truck a coulple hours as of yet, the only mod has been to remove the E-Revo billboards off the sides.

Here's the pics, taken on the hood of my XJ!

Showed it to Mom, she thought it looked like some gigantic insect......she also thinks my Micro Desert Truck looks like some mangy little mouse when it's running

I've got the Reedy Rocket Pack 4500mAh 7.2v stick packs in it, can't give a true estimate on run time since I ran it on my lunch break and only got to run it 10 minutes before I had to go back to work. This thing does pull hard off a dead stop on sealcoat, it would spin all four tires on take-off, back end would squat to the point it was nearly dragging on the ground, and the front was as high as it would go with the front suspension at full droop and front tires barely on the pavement scrabbling for whatever traction they could get! The drive train also has a pretty mean growl to it under power that just seemed to enhance the experience further

Needless to say, I'm hooked.....bad:smile:

My LHS just got one in and called me. I told them to hold one for me as soon as it came in! So I left work and rushed down there, grabbed it off the floor with a big grin on my face......then I saw the price:-(.....$495.00!!!!!! Needless to say it went back on the floor! If it had the brushless setup on it I might have dropped the $$$....but Traxxas is way to proud of this one. It is awesome though. But not that awesome. But the time you got everything you need you will be $700+++ in it!!!! Thats CRAZY! When they get it down to the EMaxx price I'll buy!

$495.00 is better than buying a nitro one then ripping the guts out of it, stealing the tranny from your E-Maxx, buying a brushless settup, buying one of the conversion kits and then BUILDING it yourself! Like alot of people had to do because Traxxas was a little slow with this one.

Don't blame Traxxas for that price, blame your LHS. That's about $40-50 higher than the more expensive online retailers. If they think they can sell them for that price, more power to them, but my LHS's are selling them at or below Tower's price. FWIW, you can pick one up for $429.95 + shipping from impaktrc.com or superiorhobbies.com (Superior is a LHS for me).

X2, the HobbyTown I work at is selling them for $449.99 just like Tower is. I ended up with a little better price since I work there though.

Thanks, I'm kinda refering to the Revo as my Pede's "Mega Me"

The Pede is sitting a little high though since it didn't have a battery in it at the time.

If I were to buy a Traxxas product, it would be that. Those look mean.

This better?

While I was at it, got some topless pics

There has been some discution on the Traxxas forum about the battery leads being to short to reach the ESC, don't seem to have that problem here

Decided to open a whole in the body to let hot air out too, probebly going to open it a little more, turns out I can disconect the battery leads without removing the body too. Geared it down too, went from 19t pinions to 17t.
