| Went to get a Slash yesterday but........
So I had a Slash under my arm and was heading for the cash registar when I spotted the new E-Revo........after talking with the store owner and having him make me an offer I couldn't refuse.... I ended up taking it home :-P Alright here are some pics. All I can say is wow....I'm not usually a big fan of Traxxas but I would say that they hit a home run with this one! On to the pics................ |

Nice choice! The Slash is sweet but the E Revo is sick! How does it drive as far as speed. I read the review in RCCA and they said it ran around 30+mph and did not need to go much faster (makes me think its on the slow side in its brushed form). Let us know how she runs, and what batteries you are using. |

Taking it to the pavement races tonight. Most are running Revo 3.3's and mugens. Just running stock motors for now and 2 7cell packs. I'll let you know how it keeps up. Seems pretty quick out in the yard and street....definatly will be going brushless soon though |

Took second in the A-main Stock tires are way to grippy for pavement running. The local track cleans then sprays sugar water on the track for grip, I kept traction rolling on corners. That was easily fixed with a set of HPI's Phaltlines. Batteries dumped on the second last lap of the 10 minute main. Stock motor keeps up with the 3.3's. Definatly a set of lipos in the near future followed by a brushless system. |
