Default Night time Slash'n

I decided to take one of my light kits and throw it on the Slash. I get home late a lot when it's already dark but I still want to play. I put four whites up front but angled the outside ones to throw light a little to the side and the inside lights focused directly in front, you can see in the pics what I'm talking about from the camera angle and glare of the lights. This gives more light and is very easy to do by placing the lights in the right spot in the curve of the body. I just put the rear tailights where it looked decent in the red stripe on the body.
Tried it out tonight on the street after putting these one. Next time I'm taking it on the dirt where the real excitement is. I'm liking these lights on it though, turned out ok.

Has anyone else done any night time racing?

Shot a very quick vid on my cell phone tonight, check out the blurr of the four lights. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7xn7ZWSNKA

Too many pics ...

Just drill out holes for the led mounts that come with the kit, push in the led, and secure it. Very simple.

Thanks Corey. Took me an hour to prep the bench for pictures.

I bought it from RC-Lights.com - http://www.rc-lights.com/products/head_tail_fog.htm, kit #3301. I've had this light kit for almost a year and don't think I paid the going rate now. There are other kits available as well that will work just fine.

I barely have enough time to build and drive these things, you think I got time to clean.

I'll have it at the next comp Davey, but PP doesn't have much dirt or open space to race it. I'll find something. I think swell is going to have his Losi DT and I believe I managed to talk Scooteracing into bringing his Slashes out. We need some more guys to get them and find a local track or somewhere to race. I've just been going to construction sites and baseball fields lately.
------------------------------
Speaking of baseball fields. Is it me or are these Slashes very hard to steer/control on the loose dirt/hard base ground of a baseball infield? I couldn't drive this thing in a straight line around the bases without having to back off the throttle to save my life. It keeps spinning out once it gets to speed. I'm running stock everything with a 6 cell at that. I don't have this issue on loose gravel, pavement, or compact ground without the 'loose' dirt on top of it.
