Default My new drifter.. AMG CLK

This is my new drifter I just finished. Its a TB02 chassis with AMG CLK Mercedes. I am running it with a mamba 5700 Side Winder motor/ESC combo and a 5000 7.4 lipo. Lots of torque and fast so it should be fun.

It will get proper drift wheels and tires.

XXX-S if you can get one. I have one and stock out the box they handle great. I also have a TA05 that I drift with. It is alittle harder to control but does drift good. I have an RS4 Rally setup to drift but haven't tried it yet. Really anything would be a decent start but if you are buying get something like the XXX-S Drift, HPI Sprint 2 drift.. there are several that come rtr and set up for drifting. I would recommend the XXX-S because I had such good luck with it. If you can find one RTR with the Novak 10.5 sensored brushless and throw some hard rubber compound drift tires. That is what I did with the one I had and it was a great drifter.

That looks sharp. I got that Sprint 2 drift RTR I mentioned in the Memphis area thread, got it all painted up and the damn tx doesn't work.

I hope your having fun with yours though.

I am hoping several of us can get together some time. It is kind of boring to do by myself. What kind of TX are you running? I may a spare laying around. I don't use most of them because I have 2.4
