I built a scale 48 willys truck crawler and have a thread going on here but my true love is hot rods, I built my own over the past three years and really want to make a 1/8 scale r/c replica of it. I am good with styrene and the willys turned out great so I think my 36 will be ok to do. Here are some pics of my willys on a highlift chassis and pics of my real hot rod that is going to be the next project! And I can get a 1/8 scale flathead from the revell 32 ford kit. What do you think?? MY WILLYS BUILD ![]() MY 36 HOT ROD, THE NEXT SCALE BUILD ![]()

that 36" is smokin. would look even sicker with another 1" of drop in the front. the frame being higher than the cab makes it look like its launching a bit.

With the skill you've shown on the Willys I have no doubt you can do it. So when does this new build thread start?

Still gathering the parts, I just got a straight I beam axle from a tamiya big rig, want to use a bruiser rear or something similar and have transverse leaves on front and back. Deciding to go with some highlift frame rails, I will modify them to look like the 36 frame. I have all the styrene to build it, just waiting on a cheap 1/8 scale 32 ford model kit so I can rob parts from it.

That Willis body looks awesome Can't wait to see what your next build looks like if it's half as nice as that one.
