Thumbs up Frog Scorcher or Sand Hopper?

I am going to start building up a Sand scorcher clone... My question is for those that have done it before which way did you go, Hornet/grasshopper chassis or a frog chassis??
I've had hornets in the past, and am trying to figure out which is the better undercarrige to go with...
Let me know what you all have done, please feel free to post up pics or links to your build...
I have the body already, just need the guts to make it go!

I voted frog. I have never built one, but have experience with all the rc's you mention and I hated my grasshopper that I had. I loved my frog though!!!! I beat the piss out of that thing. I would think the frog chassis would allow for a more custom setup, as far as link and shock placement.

The Frog has a lot of proven mods- I'd go Frog. Shim the diff, swap some good shocks on it and they actually perform pretty well.

Sweet, looking forward to the pics...
The frog based builds that I have seen over on Tamiya Club seem to have the front tires pushed out a bit from under the front fenders...
The Hornet/Hopper builds seem to just be at the edge of the front fenders...
Hmmm maybe I can figure a way to comine the Frog Rear and a hornet front end and build a "Super Beetle" Style Baja Bug....
