Default Bug Body for the Slash???

I know that VW has cracked down on pretty much everyone that puts out a Baja Style Bug body, but is there one out there that would fit the slash (like the CKRC baja)??
If I remember the Bugs, would run on the same courses as the stadium trucks... As would the ultra light buggies..
It would be nice if one could pop a Baja style body onto the slash and start another "class" to run along with them.. or in a secondary heat..
Just brainstorming...

That CKRC split window bug will be too small for the slash. There is a larger scale bug body that was made a while back that might fit.

Yep the ckrc body measures 5.5 inches and the slash comes in at just under 12 inches wide per traxxas....
back to the drawing board.. at least till VW gets the stick out of their a**...

Losi had a Monster Truck bug that might work, it was huge.

That's who made that! It was called the Losi Mega Baja Bug. Here is a pic with a few specs:

That is cool. I like it a lot, very scale looking for something so coincidental! I just might have to find another mega baja body for the slash..... I just bought the last one at the LHS for my emaxx, and if I hadn't already drilled the holes....

Thats not the losi mega baja body though.... mine has the headlights on the fenders, and the fenders are narrower.

I just checked the CKRC bug body, way too small and way too narrow.

Yep the dimensions are way way off...
as are the 2.2 sized bug that proline put out...
I guess the challenge is who is sitting on some NOS 3.3 Bug bodies... or a good condition used body...

It isn't quite as nice a fit, but the Losi mgea baja bug bodies fit well.
I'll get a pic later

This is by far the coolest body I have seen for the Slash. I would also like to see a Impreza WRX on a Slash, maybe some other class Baja or Dakar rigs. Was it determined that this is the TNX Proline baja bug body?

Yes that is the TNX Proline Baja... I have seen an 1/8 scale WRX on a Slash, looked good. Trying to find the pic.
