Default Well I sure hope this is the right spot v.Introduction

I was torn between Newbie, Chit Chat, and here to post this. I'm hoping I choose the right spot :noes:

Regardless, I'm a frequenter of the freaks site (az-rcfreaks.com, same name there). Few months back I picked up a Clodbuster crawler in shambles, and recently purchased parts to rebuild it as well as some TLT axles for another crawler.

Regardless, I am a newb when it comes to crawlers. I've been nagging a local crawler guy for a bunch of stupid questions.

Vehicle wise, I started a bit ago with a Traxxas Rustler I picked up in a tool box, and 5 gallon ziplock bags. The collection has grown, and grown, and keeps growing (as much as the wife hates them, the 2 boys love playing & working on em). Here's a fairly recent picture of my collection.

That was taken back in about mid April 2008. Since then, I've added another Revo, a LST2, a Mammoth, an Airplane, mini lst2, and i'm sure I'm missing a couple more.

Regardless, I'm here to find out some answers to questions I have, as well as get these two crawlers built & goin.

Yeah, I've quickly realized this already. Had a choice between a new motor for my Revo or a TLT chassis, and I see a tlt chassis on my credit card. Regardless, the kids love helping building these things as they're large & easy for their lil' hands to work on.

That is really cool. You got some lucky kids, my dad isn't into RC.

I got into RC in 04, when I was 10. I bought my first real RC car, a Mammoth ST! I still love it. And now I have 10+ cars and trucks. But crawling is a whole different ball game, And is my favorite type of RC.

What were you planning on doing for your crawlers? A clod super class, and a TLT 2.2 class?

Any way you go, you should check out CKRC crawlers at- http://www.ckrccrawlers.com/shop/ -they have a great selection of parts and completes. Their website is nothing short of impressive.
