Default Blade cx

I have one on the way. I only go to hobbytown when it's an emergency, because their service sucks rat balls & he don't know what he's talking about most of the time. Just like he told me that rc crawling will be fading away, that's a whole different story though.

Anway I ask this F%#king moron if I would need training gear for it since I'm learning how to fly. He told me that you don't need them for the cx, cause the don't tip over. I was thinking BS. I had the training gear in my hand ready to buy it, the nerd told me that it wouldn't work on it. When I got home, I looked on the computer & what do you know, the same training gear I had in my hand was for the cx. So I'm thinking I should get a set, what do you guys think?

This is pretty much the norm in heli training gear and I would be willing to bet its what you wanted to get. Should work just fine with the Blade. I had a Blade CP Pro and I think the landing gear is the same.
I would think your heli manual would have the training gear listed as an optional part?
I would have to agree with the Hobbytown comment. They are usually a bunch of douches.

is this the dual rotor one? Unless you get stick crazy, you may not need the training gear. If its a single rotor with a tail motor, then get the gear. Much easier to screw up. You can get some dowls at a hardware store and zip tie it to the landing gear. Just get 1/4 in dowl and make an X...you will be fine.

if your first learning to fly helis training gear is a must even w/ the cx or cx2. (probabbly the only hobby grade heli on the market that ive ever flown that didnt need training gear is the mcx) not only will it help w/ hard landings but it helps when encountering walls.
