| I have been running a 5700kv and mamba max combo on 3s, and i first stirpped the stock spur, no biggie , i bought soem extra 84t spurs and the first one started to strip, i noticed the center hole was loose on the clutch's shaft, i nstalled another and the same thing happen after a couple of speed passes , i then noticed that the slipper clutch was a little loose and very hot, so much that it had melted/deformed the center hole on the spur that slides on the shaft, thus making it wobble and stripping the spur gear, so my question is, should tighten the spur slipper all the way to the bottom and should this solve the clutch overheating problem?or are there any other optional better(read tougher) parts out there for my DT?? |

| my savage used to do the same thing. My best solution until I went to metal gears was to lock the slipper and set up a throttle curve that worked for me. you just have too much power |
