ya holy crap.... a mild setup with a 4600 on 2s is decent, on 3s is about useless.... 4s... good luck

Is it a 2000 kv motor? 4S @ 2000 kv is 29,600 RPM. VXL is 3500 kv. 3S @ 3500 is 38,850 RPM. I'll race ya.

There isn't a VXL that'll touch this setup in terms of power capability. The Medusa is a 4 pole motor and has a rotor at least 10mm longer than the VXL. There are many folks using this same motor in E-Revos and 1/8th scale buggy and truggy conversions. The bottom line is it's quite simple for me to gear up to overcome the lower motor RPM's...the Medusa has more than enough torque to make up for it.

It flies like a friggin broken kite. I jumped it once on Sunday when I had it out doing some speed runs. Once it's in the air, the body just catches air and kind of sails. I'll have to try and get some video of that this weekend when I take it out again for the mandatory video shoot.

I've seen a brushless slash on 3s, and I thought that was insane! 4s ranks close to retarded, but not quite. I'd need a whellie bar for my whellie bar!
