Looks like a good design, will wait on judgment from the resident bashers and beaters here before I buy a set though. The last offerings were terrible.

Unless I get some for free I won't try them last set peeled open right where the pin goes in (under that coupler) didn't even last 5 minutes.... $30 well spent Lesson learned... sticking with stock sliders and metal joints

Exactly why I am waiting for others to do the durability testing for me. I have had that exact same issue with all of my MIP CVD's...why I don't usually use them.

Are you guys referring to the set made for the AX10?

I have MIP CVDs on quite a few vehicles (on road racers to crawlers) and have had not troubles with them.

I currently have them on my RC18T, had 4, down to 2. Had them on m T-Maxx, they lasted about 2 runs at a track (no spool or anything). I had them on my TC3 and XXXS...those seemed to fail if I looked at them cross-eyed. I even put them together as a last resort with red locktite, still the pin would wiggle free and shear at the cup.
