Could be some hacked up shit from another buggy, or it could be some nice vintage hop-ups from back in the day. I'd try asking Microgoat, aka Dremelit, aka Stu. I did just see a Scorcher nylon front end last week on Ebay, guy was saying it was CRP or something, he didn't remember, so it might be something. |

IMO - I wouldn't give $100 for it, but I'm not into the vintage stuff. Your CC01 is probably worth ~$200-300 depending on how you sell it, and to whom.

That is a sand scorcher, it has many vintage crp parts .mip rear shafts as well i think. The body looks like a Blitzer Beetle shell, If you are looking for a quick turn around and make some money its probably worth more than a cc-01 chassis. try ebay for sand scorchers as they make good money and have a huge following.

x2 - Its a Sand Scorcher. I had one I bought new in '84. Sat in a box for 20 years and I sold it 12mo ago for $650. Mine had the fiberglass pan backboard with the waterproof electronics box attached to it. 2 sets of wheels/tires. A beat up F150 body (original) and the Sand Scorcher body. Orignal alum/brass shocks and a few rebuid parts. A guy near GR mich sells a lot of old Tamiya parts for these, on Ebay. |

I'd trade, it'll be much easier and cheaper to build another FJ that trying to buy the Scorcher, even a stock one. I like the rear arms, I had a Super Champ back in the day, and I must have broken 2 or 3 of the cast rear arms, should make for a nice vintage runner.

Even in the condition its in,would be worth trading.Check on the inside of the body, should tell you if its a scorcher or a blitzer shell and try getting all the little pieces that are missing before you try to sell it,will be worth a lot more if complete. You can download all the manuals on here to help with the rebuild http://www.modelbuild.co.uk/manuals.html |
