nitro cleaner

what are some good nitro clearer's

slobin3d 06-20-2009 07:48 PM

the dynamite stuff has always worked well, and is electronic and plastic safe. only down side is it doesn't last long, simple green works well if your comfortable with hosing your truck off with water.

On wet days I sprayed my buggys' plastic parts and chassis with WD-40 prior to running. After the race crud, mud and everything else comes of with a blast of the compressor.

MIx denatured alcohol with simple green what ratio I dont recall but it's a lot cheaper

Do any of these remove dried up, gummed up nitro fuel? I'm not into nitro but have a lot of used nitro stuff I need to clean up before I can sell it.

Absolute cheapest way is to use denatured alcohol (methyl Alcohol) in a garden spray bottle.

many many cleanings, will remove dirt, nitro gummie, and some sicker residue with some elbow grease added.
