Default Losi Mini LST2, Traxxas Mini Slash, or Mini revo.

This is a good bit cheaper than the mini slash and mini revo. You want to chime in with your opinion if it is worth buying? Think it will be as durable or nearly as fast? It does come with a lipo. Maybe its not going to sell so well for losi. They seem to keep being way behind Traxxas. Way behind.

this is the link for the mini lst2 the truck I am asking about. I am thinking about getting one of the three but am still undecided.

Here is my opinion of the Mini LST:

flat roof track, gonna buy a couple 1/18's, who like what and why?

If you have the money for it I would get either of the Traxxas 1/16. The Mini LST can be great and has won in racing. The Mini Revo and Mini Slash are way better, faster out of the box and much more durable.

traxxas for the win, youll spend more up front, but by the time you get done fixing your mini lst you will have spent way less
I have both

Like ^ said after you buy the brushless system to make it just as quick as the 1/16 revo it should be about the same if not more $. Iv'e seen some really fast ones but don't know if they would do a standing backflip and that is just stupid fun. hehehe

Mini E-Revo for sure. I got to drive my friends and it is soooooo sick. It hauls the mail and is very durable as well.

Just the stock traxxas ones wired in series. When I get home from my vacation I'm going to see if I have some lipo's that will fit but till I get home the NiMH works great!!

Oh yeah the mini LST2 has been out for pretty darn long. Its Traxxas that is late to the game, its just they came out hard.

My mini LST is broke and has been broke for a year now. Becouse I installed a brushless li-po set up. the mini lst is not made for brushless.

The 1/16 revo is brushless from the factory. Warranty's, Customer support, are included with the mini revo. Choose wisely.

i think the OP already decided on the Mini revo... but here's my $0.02

stay away from the LST2 it's old, heavy, and just ain't worth it.

i converted to the the exotek chassis, just to get away from the twin mini servo setup. that alone made a world of difference.

but then i changed to BL and added lipo. now the thing hauls balls... but since the LST2 is top heavy, it'll flip on it's lid during any hard corner.
too bad there isn't an easy way to extend the wheelbase now, it might help.

worst of all, the batch of rims i got with my vehicle were defective. after a jump during the 1st week of driving, i was SOL with 3 broken rims. horizon said it was user error, i say that the REPLACEMENT losi rims haven't broken since... and i drive just the same.

all in all, i've spent a ton of money for a vehicle that i can't really race.. but after all the upgrades, it's super durable... i'm just poorer. and yes, i am also considering a mini revo or mini slash to replace the LST2.
