Default Subaru Brat body... what truck should I put it on?

I have a lexan subaru brat body i've run for quite awhile on both my Emaxx and my rustler.

I've since upgraded my rustler to a slash, so I'd like to find a new truck to put my Brat body on.

Any ideas? I'd like something kinda scale... not redonkulous like the Emaxx. I'd also like it to be 4wd, and bashable.

I've looked into the 1/16 Slash/Revo. Width wise it works out, but the wheelbase is a bit short.

Recommendations?

Oh snap! That looks awesome.

Are the Tamiya trucks fairly durable? What kits are the XC chassis found in?

Thanks;)

They are pretty stout, owned mine for about 5 years and ran the piss out of it. Wore my pinion down to nothing and stripped ever hole on the chassis. But that's with hours of trail riding and hard bashing.

Wrangler, Pajero, Isuzu Amigo, Honda CRX and the XB Pajero.

Called either XC or CC-O1

Unfortunately they discontinued the Pajero and the Wrangler, you best bet to get on is the classifieds or Ebay.

Build something custom. You could start with an Axial SCX-10 and shorten the wheelbase to match the body.

Wow... that is a great example of a Brat.

I'll have to do some looking at the SCX10 kit. I have a MRC, but it looks a bit tooo small for the brat body.

Here is my 1:1 daily driver... lifted '86 Subaru Wagon (if only I could find a body like this!)

Cool wagon. I always thought someone, with more skill than me, could turn a brat body into a wagon. At least I think it hasn't been done yet.
