| Tamiya TL01 Stretched F150 Crew Cab Custom
I been lurking around here a bit and I figured I'd post a little project I've been working on. I had a Tamiya TL01 chassis laying around and I figured I'd try to make a somewhat scale hauler rig for my R/C's. I plan on building a trailer for it. So far this is what I have. Custom stretched the chassis with some scrap aluminum laying around. More to come. I'll get some better pics once it get's closer to being completed |

I like where you're going with this. Have you decided what color you're going to paint it yet?

It's HPI F150 Body for T-Maxx/Savage. I finished up the chassis and painted it black. It's nothing special but it works. I've got some 1.9 bead locks going on it and I'm waiting for tires to show up. Also I need to find a way to lengthen the driveshaft so I can have 4wd, any suggestions on that? |

For lenghtening your driveshaft go to mcmaster.com and get their 5mm round stock steel rod, cut to length and make the ends match the old shaft. Looks clean |
