Sleeper/Pro Beater, make it look like just a beat up street car that ust don't quite look "right" (like bigger than normal tires and exhaust, more of a street machine style stance, ect)

Thanks Guy's for all the good comments, I am hoping to try this out as a sleeper ratty looking Pacer that will go fast, I have a line on a brushless system, mm 5700kv on 3 cell lipo ? My question is should i make with a rear axle, like a losi mini crawler axle? as for the stance it will be as low as possible! Anyone know who is a good painter, I would like to have a faded beater paint job on it? |

Chuck a TT01 chassis under it with a set of oil shocks and an alloy main shaft. They take a hell of a beating and you can get loads of upgrades if you do break anything. Plus you could drift it when you get bored of driving straight lines. |

What's the wheelbase and width at the wheels? I vote TT-01 if the dimensions are right. If it has odd dimensions, go with a full tube dragster. The rear wheel openings are a little out of proportion and look like a drag car. As far as the paint job, go with the mirth mobile |

The wheel base is right at 10.5 inches, width is 8 inches fender to fender, This is for front and rear. With a little modification it could fit my tc4 frame. But I would like to have it solid axle in the rear and NO AWD. I would really like to find a Losi mini rock crawler axle. |

What about a standard or narrowed TLT? Are MRC's strong enough for launches and such? . . . 10.5" is the short CC-01 isn't it? Would it work on one of those? You could make it 2wd by removing the front dogbones and drive gear, and the CC-01 rear axles are supposed to be fairly robust. Whatever you do with it, you can't go wrong with the Pacer body. |

So I thought to use some leftovers from a hpi car and make it work for the pacer, so cut down the middle and took the front drive gears out and now need to mount the shock towers, What i would really like to do SOME DAY, is make this a old gasser with the front end sticking way in the air. Maybe some day! If I could find a narrowed tlt I would rather run that, The body will fit on cco1 as I have one all ready, A cco1 rear axle would work also. Just cant find what I need. |

You could run a MRC diff. it be narrow but that just gives you room for more rubber. |

Gasser... What about one of those front axles from a semi? Shaving all the trim from the car and painting it flat black or gray would definitely give it a gasser look. |

a guy on groovydrift.com set up a tc4 for only rear wheel drive; he took the drive shaft out of the front so its only rwd. theres a pic of him on the website smoking a set of foams doing a burn out. you do a on road car chassis; *tc4, tto1,etc* but dont put any in tth front diff. only use the suspension parts. i did a similar kinda config on my rustler *off topic-sorry* I used my hpi mtw suspensions parts an a made my suspension a wide travel setup. *hpi mt2 is 4WD* But like is said, use a on road car chassis; but dont put a front drive shaft in it so its only RWD |

More done, I am going with the mrc rear axle, found some tires for the back, They look funny but very wide Hope to use them, I may cut and narrow the rims and tires. :? I did get the front shock mount in and will be working on the steering next, and soon the axle will show up. Here's the updated photos |
