what makes a motor spark(on the inside) under full throttle but not when its only like 7/8 throttle? It dosen't spark when the tires have no traction but when they grab it sparks like crazy? I had the same thing hapen to my firestorm. its from the motor thying to move the car with not alot of torque. so its just trying so hard to get the wheels moving and so it just sparks. i droped my pinon gear dowm a tooth and it let the motor run cooler.  |

Weak brush spring tension. Those motors aren't manufactured all that equal.

the brushes and comm are dirty or grooved. IIRC the titans are not rebuildable. there is a gap between the 2 parts causing the arcing and the extra heat.
