Default scale Baja desert truck(not short course)

I started this build about a month ago.My plans are to bash around with this truck in the yard.It starts with a 3mm plate of aluminum then tube work out of 3/16 brake line tubing brazed. The front suspension is a Rustler, trans from Axial Scorpion, rear solid axle from Scorpion.Truck will have led's on top and front bumper, spare tire, full length Savage shocks for plenty of clearance, scale interior, dash, seats, etc.Power might come from Dynamite's new brushless line up.Im trying to build this cheap to show people you dont have to have the most expensive motor combo to go fast(you just have to know how to build a good chass

I am going to watch this build closely. I have dabbled in 1:1 desert racing before so I have quite the soft spot for this sort of thing.

looks really good so far. What did you use for your rear shock mount material?

I used to be a cable guy and i picked up a bunch of waterproof outdoor cable boxes for apartments and that is the wire mesh panel inside that we would screw all the splitters and stuff to.I guess computer guys and phone guys might use it too,i dont know.It works great because all the holes are equally spaced and 3mm screws fit perfectly.
