No problem, I like showing off Back seat from a Vega fits in there. Microballoons dumped on the wet paint gives a nice fluffy texture. Grant steering wheel and Hurst shifter... ... complete with green metal-flake rim... ... and engraving |

| Barefoot gas pedal Installed with shifter (shift indicator, too) 3D gauges Tried to get a wrinkle finish on the dash, but didn't. Gotta have a skull shift knob. |

Too cool! What kind of wheelbase you have here? Need something to reference for size. |

He did more than just touch it I wasn't fully satisfied with the slicks. Even after re-profiling they looked too modern. So I vintaged 'em up a little: Could have saved a lot of time by just painting them, but where's the fun in that? Time I got. Also did a proper oxidized-magnesium finish on the front wheels Windshield frame is 3/32 tube, slit down one side with the glass inserted in the slit. Zero-airflow tranny cooler and two-dollar plastic fuel filter And with the carb up front, it looks naked without a throttle linkage. | |

But wait, there's more! Throttle linkage painted, 50/50 mix of gold & silver to simulate cad plating. Boost gauge, 3D construction filled with epoxy. I found a little stub of cut-off brass tube, the tubing cutter gave the stub a nice profile so I used it as a housing. Also note the probe for the mechanical temp gauge; this is 60-gauge wire wrapped with a single strand of wire, then painted gold. It's not a big detail, but it sure took a while to make. Back side of the boost gauge I've always loved those big fishtail exhaust tips from 1920's race cars. This time I did the muffler clamp a little differently. Rear 3/4 view Had to add a little bling Last edited by microgoat; 02-03-2011 at 05:27 AM. |

The fun never stops around here... Rear brake drums (my old Monster-can trick) Crankcase breather If this windshield could talk... Car-club plate from the Big Deuce kit, raising the molded-parts count to 7. Last edited by microgoat; 02-04-2011 at 05:40 AM. |

Those are old Createacrawler slot mags. He did them about 4 years ago, and only made 10 sets.

How wide is that Whitebone? I can bring this to Montana, but it's going home with me. Well nobody's said it, but I know you're all thinking it: damn those front wheel hubs are ugly! I know you painted them silver to look like brake rotors, but it's not working. Do something with 'em. That's what you're saying, isn't it? Yeah, that's better Hood ornament. Yes? No? Overall progress Last edited by microgoat; 02-04-2011 at 05:50 AM. |
