Default tlt axles for SPEED!!!

ok, so i'm thinking about building a scale street truck based off of the HPI El Camino body, and was thinking/planning on using a tlt axle for the rear, i was just wondering if any of yinz had experience with these axles for going fast for a change...

Go on ultimaterc.com they are dumb, and they probably have a brushless TLT, or something gay.

electric, in all my years in rc, evrything i've run has been electric, i got and idea of using a chassis kind of like what brando builds, using a short link rear suspension, and possibly a tt-01 front end, with a slightly modified stealth tranny up fron under th hood area, with a driveshaft going back to the rear....

Try this build, it seems similar to your idea axle wise and his trial and error might save you some guess work.

Cool

I built a tlt for tthe tough truck class at the MT races with a Losi trans, so far it has taken all the speed of a Orion 10 double and a 3600 pack with puller style tires with no sweat. john

When I first got my TLT I put a 10T double in it and upped the gearing. I am still on the original gears, so I don't think you will have a problem.
