I've had a XXL for two yrs. now and beat the poop out of it! Great basher truck also real easy to work on. JennysRC on EBAY sells/auction parts off daily...cheap! I have a box of parts, arms, shocks, diffs, knuckles so I don't have no down time. Original motor still;.... over 3 gallons thru it! Jusy my two cents, sorry for rambling on my man. You'll have fun with either truck! |

Well I've had no probs with mine I beat the shit out of it on 30 % nitro and even bracket race the truck. The people that have probs with them . 1 . Didn't break it in correctly. Or 2. Don't know how to tune a nitro motor. I'll put my xl against anything.

If you dont't get that Losi. I have a kick A$$ Savage Basher that I would let go for $600. I have over a $1000 in this thing. It has an SH .28 6 port motor. Makes the tires the size of dinner plates at speed. Crazy fast. To many mods to list. |

for my first (and only) nitro, I bought the HPI MT2 RTR. I love that thing, but looking back I wish I wouldve bought the savage instead. The Mt2 can't go through grass very well unless it's mowed really short and I 've seen videos of savages that just plow through anything...... |

Well, I had the Losi and the AE MGT 8.0 and by far the MGT is a better basher. A hell of a lot more durable, easier to tune and gobs of power. If you are going to race on a track, the Losi is the better choice.

If your looking for a basher that will take a beating, go with the savage hands down. Had a savage 25 that I regret getting rid of, worst R/C mistake I've made, not keeping it that is.... Not sure if I'd get the 5.9 or the 4.6, I'd probably get the 46 but the top speed is about the same on either, teh 4.6 revs higher but the 5.9 has more low end power, toss up really.
