Default ---Hpi Sprint 2 Drift--

Im bout to pick up a used one tomorrow. What are some good upgrades for drifting?

Just lock the rear differential and get some PVC tires.

Flip the whole chassis around so the motor is in the front. I did it to mine, with vast improvements. Search "sprint 2 front motor" on google and one person's project will pop up on like 20 different forums.

Lock the rear diff, add a front one way! andcut out the rear bulk head cover!

This is a definite improvement, and easy to accomplish. This along with locking the rear diff and drift tires (PVC pipe) will make it into a excellent drifter

wow, just saw this thread. i have a sprint 2 flux that i made into a touring car to race at my local hobby shop. im woundering how well this would work for a tour car?

Counter steer that bitch.
Makes all the difference in control.
Clod pinions are just the right mesh for those belts. You can make them pullies.
Make the front turn slower than the rear...
