Here she is. Upol clear turned out really nice. I'm still going to give it a light hand polish and a good wax in the next few weeks. The clear gives a nice reflection, pictures don't do it justice (my dorm room isn't exactly bright).

This happened a month ago:

Well the first run on 4s2p was aggravating to say the least. Boat ran great for about three minutes, then this happened:











And to top it off:




I was trying a new place to run. Wasn't even close to the shore and the lake was pretty deep, apparently there were some boulders right below the surface...

Thanks Griz. I guess it was a lesson learned, certainly will never be back at that spot again lol.

The scoops are washer jet covers for cars. They were carbon fiber but the two other Daytona's sporting them left the CF, so I figured I'd blend the seem into the hatch and paint them.

Great idea. I have some airplane pushrod hole covers that look like scoops, but they are much smaller. I like the washer jet covers better.

I'm seriously considering putting a fin on mine as well.
