Default Crawler Innovations EXO Terra Buggy test mule

I've had this built for a while now and finally had some time today to take pictures. It's basically box stock and built to the manual specs. I did add over drive gears in the front though. I also installed the dual rate shock pistons. Has anybody else tried those? I did a search but didn't come up with much on RCC or RCSC.

As for electronics, I installed a Traxxas 3S Velineon brushless system with a fan to help keep the temps down since the interior limits air flow. I will be using a Hobby Partz Sky Lipo 3S, 3000Mah, 40C battery. It has a Hitec 5955 steering servo. I'm using the GT3B TX & RX.

These are all poser shots. I haven't even driven the buggy yet unfortunately. C.I. has just been to busy with other projects. I have already made closed cell foams for this buggy though . The current set is a modified set of HB Pro Molded Closed Cell 1/8 scale buggy foams. Just the fit and feel of them is night and day over the cheap conventional foams the kit comes with. I will keep y'all posted as I make progress on this buggy. I have a few cool things planned for it.

After the foams, the next mod for me was to address the roof. I'm not a fan of it. It reminds me of a vintage muscle car hood. Something Oldsmobile in the Cutlass line. I like it on the muscle car but not for the buggy. Especially with it being a four seater. I asked Lori (my better half) to please make me a white canvas top for it and this is what she came up with
