| EQR Tamiya TXT-1 monster truck racer
my latest buildup I liked this wheel setup, but wanted a bit more detail, so I took them back off I had this idea from some of the other build/wheels around RCMT. I drilled the center out so that it'll use the same mounting as if it was a stock wheel. Here is a quickie test run, and proof why you need tires glued to the wheels, knocked two beads off on the left side in this short a test. video The motor is a 1/8th scale 5mm shaft Short Course truck motor, but on just a 2s lipo it powers the TXT very well and is under geared to boot. I could gear it up for more speed, but don't think I will. in this pic you might be able to see the plastic/lexan tray I made. I have a muscle machines blower I'll put on to dress it up some. Don't have a big fancy whole motor like this Chicago guy does to use. :emot144: . |
