Default mamba mini-t...dammmmmmmmm!

ok im at my grandparents house and brought my mini-t with me.I just got a mamba 8000k motor and mamba 25 esc and all the other goodies you need to get it all to work.So I assembled it all when I got here (its a 5 hour drive from where I live and im staying here a week or so) any ways I got it all working and went out in the huge parking lot behind there house for a test run and holy crap this thing is fast its like 40-50 mph and Im using a stock trinity monster batterys...I love mini-ts! so now its time to biuld a full tube frame for it and get some paddle tires...yep a brushless mini-t dune buggy! should be cool wheel seee! I was just so amazed at the speed and endless wheeles that I had to post!

Man, I'm starting to miss my mini already, even though it is a mini mauler, not mini-t. I set out to build a truck to out bash my freinds basicly stock mini-t, and I never finished my extended chassis. That tiny truck with a 5 cell was too much for the stock wheel base, I'm gonna go 6-8 cells when I finish my new chassis. Hey guys, what's the wheel base on your mini-t's? Stretching to fit mini-t bodies was also part of my grand scheme.

I just got a mini-t with the 6800 and still using 6 cells but it is ridiculously fast. Just ordered a li-po for it.(2 cell)

Tonight we will be running a mini class at the track for the first time. Should be interesting. 4 of us running b/l mini's.

I usually race 1/10 nitro stadium truck ( OS 18CVR) so they are actually pretty similar (ridiculously overpowered)

Sound like your having a blast with that Mini-T and thats what its all about. Plus the hop ups are endless for it. I had a a Mambafied Mini T for a while. I was running Trinity pre glued street tires and the wheelies were endless on blacktop and tons of fun. It all ended after a day of golf with my buddies (and a few beers) in the parking lot, I pulled a wheelie at around 40+ and flipped it on its back, slid for about 20 feet on its lid into a parking block butt first. The 8000kv motor can dented so bad it froze up, parted it out on Ebay after that to fund a 10th scale. Still miss it:-(

Enjoy it man, endless fun!

WOW, you guys dug up a 2 year old thread!

Gotta agree though, put a Mamba 8000kv setup in mine about the time this thread was started and it's still a white knuckle drive for me!

When I bought mine it already had the bl set up. If I remember right the motor plate was drilled for the Mamba.
