| baja bug build
My next project after the soft top blazer, 4runner, and sandrail... One kickazz baja bug. I'm using this as a guideline. I'm gonna run a soild maxx rear and an indi maxx front. I'm also gonna run an Emaxx tranny so I can have 2 speed. I'm gonna run whatever brushless motor/esc combo JRH suggest. I'm gonna run a HPI baja bug body unless, someone has a better suggestion. Any forseen problems? Sorry for the crappy pics |

why do a solid rear??? why not make it fully independant like the real one and run 2wd just like the real one... you could put the motor in the rear of the bug to get the weight right... but i am sure it will be cool either way..

I've always wanted a solid rear indi front for some reason. I could save that for another project, I guess.

That's the first time I ever saw the 4x4 builder mag. I just sent in my subscription, I think it has a lot of good info.

I'm gonna try and copy the original roof rack/light bar as close as possible on this one. The rack/lightbar actually ties into the frame and motor cage at the rear | |

Wow, the homosauce flying around in here is so thick it is sticking to the other threads. BTW, dammit. I was talking to MGS about that exact idea the other night too. That's on my back burner. One hauling *** baja bug. |
