The Wild One was one of my fav cars growing up. My vintage is lost to time but I just picked up a re-release. Hope you enjoy my little vid. Had a blast shooting, just wish I had a friend out with me so I'd have shots other than all static. Please subscribe if you like it!!! |

some really nice stuff in here, some pix of mine carbon pan RC12L, built in 1994 with a traxxas esc& rec combo with a 94 vintage green machine stock motor just unearthed from the folks basement in october, added a new servo, some tires, and updated lipo battery. Also "streched" the wheel base to run a hpi cupracer body and then theres this, my step dads 1/12th tamiya 911 rsr. early 80s?? pretty much garbage but I just cant bring myself to throw it away maybe one day I'll make a scale junkyard |

To 2SLOWDUO the last pic it looks like the door is partly opened, does it actually open or is it just the way the pic is ? |

The doors are separate pieces but don't open. All the body panels are separate on this old thing. One of the reasons I have to keep it. I really felt bad when I was 16 and got this thing out and ran it cuz I was not easy on things, and it's such a nice body. Lexan is forgiving but old abs is not, and remember this thing looking SO nice. I just knew I would destroy it and I've always been a huge 911 fan. Hence the 911 on the 12L "replacement" |

I just picked up a MINT Losi electric stadium truck from a buddy of mine that raced in the early to mid 90s. This one was never raced and only had a couple packs through it before it was put on a shelf where it sat till today when I got it. Also got a ton of parts, charge and odds and ends. I'll get some pics tomorrow and post up. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2 |

My crown Jewel of my R/C collection, my Tamiya Jugg 2. Got lucky and picked it up in trade off the local Craigslist. Mostly un-molested and box stock. Look like it was barely run. I managed to find an orignal Decal sheet and a few other bits from a local guy, gonna paint it candy-apple red and make it a shelf queen/occasional runner/show truck. But I couldn't resist doing the monster mash with it after I got it! Also VERY vintage in the last photo, a couple of old Bolink Wide Pan car bodies, left over from my old TRC PRO10W. (which I wish I still had) |

Don't worry, those bodies are already thouroughly thrashed. That car spent more time bouncing off walls than it did going straight. (my reflexes were just too slow for that thing, lol!)

I almost forgot about this: A while back a friend of mine who worked for a Hobby store in the mid to late 80's had a habit of raiding the 50% off bins, and saved boxes of stuff. He gave me this really interesting box CHOCK FULL of NIP vintage Tamiya and Kyosho parts. There's some Royal and Marui stuff in there, too. Plus some vintage hop-up parts (thorp, etc.) Take a look through the photo album at this link: Seriously, take the time to look through it all, there's some awesome (and super-rare) stuff in this box! Vintage Tamiya and Kyosho Parts Photos by JavelinSST390 | Photobucket BTW, if you can actually identify what some of this stuff is, or want any of it, PM me. I have no use at all for 90% of it and would like to see it go to good homes where people will use and appreciate it. |

I have the original Jugg sitting on my bench. Not sure what to do with it though. I think the last time I ran it I was hearing some gear noise. Kinda like it was skipping teeth. The chassis is in really good condition, but the body has some rash, broken side mirrors, some scrapes n what not.

Yeah, that was the deal with the Jugg 1. That's why the Jugg 2 even exists, is because Tamiya had to re-design the axle housings and gears because the top set of gears in the axle would blow, sometimes within the first 5 minutes of running. There used to be a retrofit kit available from tamiya to convert to the Jugg 2 parts, but they were 80 bucks and I don't think they're available anymore.
