Default Elect Crawler shows them how it's done

While crawling at a competition this weekend at the R/C-X games, I entered One of my basher clods in the "spud run" For those of you that don't know what a spud run is, they take 2 sheets of plywood and some 2"x4"s and frame up an area about 24"x16' and mix a bunch of instant mashed patatoes to about 4-5" deep. You start right in the taters, and The fastest truck through them wins. when I entered my crawler there was 7 other enteries nitro's. I ran 8th, and was the only truck to make it through the taters, the crowd roared as I cleared the tater patch, and all of a sudden the nitro's came out of the woodwork. I guess they didn't wanna be beaten by an electric, and a slow crawler at that Well of course I didn't win when they brought out the big 5th scale to run through it, but I sure did get the enteries to sign up. What a blast EtypeR should be posting some pictures by next weekend in the R/C-X Games thread.

Ha, way to go, man

I bet you've got to wash that stuff off right away, huh? I can just imagine how hard it is to get all that starchy-ness off once it's dry.

Just imagine how well you would have done had it been a nitro crawler!

Most events only cost $10.00. Well worth it for the door prizes they had alone.

WHY NOT?

Tatos look thicker then last year. If I could have gotten off work, I would have brought my clod and put some Swamp Kongs on it.

Works well because
1. It's lighter then nitro
2. It has 4 tires that can saw back and forth
