Default Novak XRS ESC question

Since it isn't for crawling I will put this in chit chat...

Anyone use a XRS with a 17 turn mod motor in a stampede or similar?

I have one here and I can free up another super rooster if the XRS will actually run a 15 turn like it says.

I'm just afraid the tiny thing can't actually handle it.

Thanks!

I ran mine with a 9 turn in a puller. I still use it in my rc 10 with a 12t.
Holding up just fine.

I run an XRS for extended periods of time on a 15t machine wound mod motor.

I ran mine in my old Stampede before. I was running with a 17-turn mod motor, and had to run with a 17T pinion gear. Any higher pinion gear, and the motor, as well as the XRS casing< would start to get real warm. ;)
