I used to go snow boating when we would get enough snow, that is when I used to run electrics. It was real fun to get some boating in during the winter. But now I run big gas weedeater boats and they don't do very well at 25+ lbs.

I never knew this was a thing that could happen!

It makes sense after seeing it, but still . . .

get lots and lots of wax on that boat! Whatever skiers use I guess?

I wonder how much work it would take for you to keep everything in the current locations but use a flexible prop shaft and mount a fan on the back of one of these boats?

I can believe you guys don't burn them up doing this. No water cooling plus what must be WAY more current draw must make them warm. I guess it is fine for short bursts. Funny either way though!

Most common comment ! lol
No water cooling !
People call me an idiot cause the boat is gonna cook off the electrics , lol
Same system as the frist time I did it , I also run this baby in the water , same setup .
It really doesn't get hot . Short runs for sure .
Is there more or less draw than water you think ?

I think less ? I could be wrong though .

Why not put one of the watt meters with temp sensor in your boat for a few runs, and then do the same in the water, and know for sure? Also will know if you're choking on not enough battery, too .. There's a few on the market that do temp, but I am not sure which ones they are, exactly.
