| Blackfoot wannabe...
Well I have had this idea kicking around in the back of my head a while. My first experience with rc was my dads tamiya Blackfoot back in the 90s. Our neighbor raced them and had several so my dad got into it playing around the house. Since then I have always had a soft spot for them. I have restored mint ones for the shelf and built runners to drive around but I want one I can drive hard and enjoy like a normal basher. Long story short one built wheely king and og Blackfoot body later we have the wheely foot. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk |

I have to shorthen the wheelbase just a little and I plan to pick up some rerelease bruiser tires for the yellow rims. Probably going to get one of the pro line 66 ford or parma Blackfoot bodies to beat on. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk |

Made some simple 4link mounts. Cutting down the links now to shorten the wheelbase down to just over 10in. That is a little bigger than the black foot but should allow me to run other bodies like the new 66 ford from pro line. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk |

Yeah, that's cool! Wheely Foot is funny. Imagine if that was the Tamiya Blackfoot back then. Imagine how different things would be now. |

Well I finally ordered the tire. Rpp is the $hit. Very fast shipping and the best price as usual. Going to rebuild the links with some stainless tube tonight and new rod ends. Putting the water proof electronics back in it and ordering another 2075 for 4 wheel steering. Need to do some work to the body as it is beat up to try and make it last. Going for a retro rc/mega truck theme that I can take to the local mud boggs with me to play with. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk |

Decided to go 4ws with it. New wheels/tires, stainless links custom chassis mounted servo and ESC mount. This thing almost deserves a new tamiya body set. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk Last edited by looneybin; 06-17-2014 at 07:36 PM. |

Who made that servo mount? I could use another one and it looks better than the offset one I have on my crawler WK right now
