Default Who has a wraith stock cage.... AND a slash.

I am not going to post this in the wraith or other section as it's not THAT important, but if you can take a picture of it propped up on a slash. I have a yeti, and it's cage fits the wb fine. Like to see a wraith cage propped on one to see wb fit and general look. It's for my electric converted nitro stampede with a slash chassis. Strictly basher and smiles per miles truck for several years. Thanks. Although I don't expect to get a result, this sites the best place for a chance.
Mike.

Not a Slash but here is a Wraith cage on a non-LCG short course chassis(with 3.8 wheels mocked up on it)

Sent from a whiskey downer beer pounder's shop

That looks better than my yeti mocked up. I think I will buy the wraith one. Or put an ad here. A lot of guys have discarded their stock ones for aftermarket and custom here.

on a slash 4x4

on a stampede 4x4

personaly i think it fits better on the stampede but thats just me
if you are looking to buy a wraith cage check out RPP Hobby's Salvage yard (its a bit cheaper than buying all the pieces seperately)

It does look better on the pede wb. But also acceptable for the slash. Thanks guys. Thanks a lot actually. Big help.

Well today I mounted a yeti one. Have to buy another for my yeti now. Good mounting too. Fits wb and chassis sides like a glove. Looks great.

That looks fantastic! I posted a picture of a Yeti Slash 4x4 a while back in the 2.2 picture thread and it works great on that chassis as well. I'm a fan of the 2wd Slash chassis for its simplicity, so I'm going to have to do something similar with my 2wd Slash.

Thanks. This started life as a nitro stampede, it still has the nitro pede tranny;)

Hi Twisted -- the Yeti cage is too big for the pede 4x4, however it's nearly a perfect fit with the slash 4x4 wheelbase.

man, i would really like to make a buggy type basher out of my pede. i seen a pic of a pede 4x4 last night with a g6 body on it and that looked pretty cool. prolly a bit top heavy tho.

Yeah, I've wondered how a G6 or Deadbolt body would look on the pede 4x4? I'd imagine the wheelbase is off though.

No the wheelbases are pretty spot on for the lexan bodies I think on a pede wheelbase. The yeti one is way too big though correct.

heres the one i seen with the g6 body on it. Modified Traxxas Stampede 4x4 West Shore: Langford,Colwood,Metchosin,Highlands, Victoria

i know someone out there had to of tried some type of cage on a pede 4x4. with that said i would hate to spend money on a cage and not have it work. and i dont like the welded cages that are out here.

Steve

Here's a g6 body on a 1st gen emaxx. Just mocked up. And an old axial body I run on it.
