This should work for limit switches. Switches and motor in series, each normaly closed switch bridged with a parallel diode. Not sure if I drew the diode bias in the proper direction. This will stop the motor when it hits the switch but allow it to reverse through the diode path.

That lathe is just like the one I learned to turn on. My uncle has it in his garage. Neat little machine. Its big enough to do serious work and small enough for hobby items. Nice find.

Awesome build!!! I like the kitchen as well, but what caught my eye more than the kitchen was the One Industries and Honda stickers as well as the bike stand under the cabinet. BRAAAAAAP!!!!! |

Thanks guys well this the first parts I have ever turned on lathe. I made a coupling to go from the trans to the rear Revo diff ad I made 2 inner axles they will be covered up by a brass outer axle as soon as I get the axle stubs I need. I have no Idea if the gearing in the Revo diff is anywhere near what it is in the MRC front axle but I figure when in the dirt it shouldn't matter much (well I ope it doesn't). |

Awesome work !! Love all the brass-work. Are you a cabinet-maker? I was for a few years and those tools look kinda familiar . I'm major envious of that lathe, I've wanted one for years too. A drill-press is great, but .... anyway. Looking forward to more of this build. Kudos |

Great build. I was expecting a retro-fit of the toy tractor parts but was pleasantly surprised to see a full scratch-build. Amazing. It must be so satisfying to finally be able to turn your own custom parts. |
