| Clodbuster for bashing
I bought a Bullhead kit and added a 4 link setuo that I made using level3rc mounts, Tamiya Clodbuster Full Lower Link Mountig Kit [CL-01 FLLM] - $24.00 :, and some integy shocks I got cheap a long time ago,150mm Rock Crawler Shock Set (new) for R/C or RC - Team Integy, I have the links mounted to the top and bottom holes on the 4 link mounts and stock locations on the chassis. The problem im having is a lot of body roll, I added a helper spring on the shocks and it helped a lot but after turning the body is still leaning and it turns on its own since the body leaning changes the angle of the axles to the chassis. Is this a shock problem, too soft, wrong mountng? Or is it my 4 link geometry is off?

also whats a servo that wont break in this? I put a cheap one in that had plenty of torque but after running it for a while stripped out. Is it worth it to run a servo saver on it?

You need a heavy duty servo saver like the ofna saver . Crawford Performance Engineering : CPE-SER3: Ofna Heavy-Duty Servo Saver - $8.99 |

I'm not a suspension geometry expert, but I THINK your links need to be a lot more parallel to the ground. Like you need to build a drop down from the center of your chassis so the links can mount a lot more horizontal. I'm just going by my experience trying to build a real big scx10 once. It did the same thing you're describing until I used some xr10 (I think) chassis plates to drop the link mounts down. Then it was a lot better.

As far as servo's go, whats your budget? For around $100 quid, the radiopost red servo's are excellent and have amazing power and resolution and you wont look back. I have landed 4 foot jumps with my Twin Hammers on one front wheel and still had steering control with this servo. Good steering confidence..For your sizing, I used to run one also in a restored original short wheel base Emaxx with no issues. There are more powerful servos out there but they lack the resolution. I use radiopost red's in 2 crawlers and a basher. You'll want to consider a BEC such as one by HeyOk performance or Castle Creations and set the voltage to something over 6V. For something under $100 I have heard the hitec 5585-mh is ok too. Just a couple links below but please buy em wherever you feel like... 1.Radiopost RP3009M Standard High Torque Servo (High Voltage) [RPC-RP3009M] | Electronics - AMain.com - AMain.com 2.Hitec HS-5585MH Coreless High Voltage Metal Gear High Torque Digital Servo [HRC35585S] | Electronics - AMain.com - AMain.com Last edited by oo C64 oo; 04-26-2015 at 02:30 AM. |

I'm going to redo my 4 link setup. I'm looking to stay at about $40 for the servo.
