| Slasher basher, little bit different.
So I've had this slash since they very first came out, (has 2.2 wheels ni-I'm batts and a brushed motor) and it's been sitting just about as long. Since I have a exo, and I'm building a yeti, I decided to dog this thing out, and do something different with it (waiting on parts for the yeti) How it's been sittin for years.. Gave it a bath in super clean and started stripping off parts. |

Shoulda left it and maybe put RPM parts on it. Those things are classics. Still have mine. Had so much fun with it and laughed for hours and hours. For days. For weeks. Laughing. I'm gonna go touch it right nah.

Looking good, I am still wondering what to do with my one slash. Yeti cage on it, street, or rally type. Oh and by the way your parts and paint organization is so nice it makes me sick. Cheers, Wade |

Yes I do at times, hence the million or so of them all over the workshop. Cleaned up the gears and bearings, installed everything in my RPM case and installed some steel universals and a new set of driveshafts. Drilled out a set of axial aluminum hexes and modified the RPM arm mount to kick that arm forward about a 1/8th inch |

Next I played around with some more wheels here (running the pede rears was just a touch too much offset still and I had to run crazy camber to clear the fenders) I almost used a set of Wraith wheels, but the beadlocks bugged me. I found a set of HPI super nitro wheels and they fit really well on the front, but the rear was too narrow for those large tires. I remembered how we used to narrow wheels with pede wheels back in the day so I adapted that idea to try and widen the HPI wheels.. Worked out perfect! now I have to order more (I robbed these from something else..) and the end result. | |
