Ive been eyeing this chassis for about a year, then a "local" posted his up for sale and we worked out a great deal for both of us.
Had the wife pick it up, and was pleasantly surprised when i got it. it doesnt appear to have more than 5 or 10 minutes of drive time on it.:shock:
not even tire dust or scratches on the bottom8)

Came with a battery, HV Solar Servo, Reventon R Speed Passion brushless sensored esc, and Speed Passion sensored 8.5T brushless motor, Eagle Racing Gyro. All appear to be brand new:shock: Came with a carbon fiber Mercedes body as well that i probly wont use.

I just did a rwd conversation on my d3. And when I run the back end keeps comin around. I don't know if you've had this problem, if so do u have a set up to help stop that.

As far as drifting goes I love it but don't let any of the more passionate guys see that gyro. They will pitch a blue hell fit. The lack of grip from RWD is usually why most of us stay with AWD. These cars are too small to drive by feel running abs or pvc tires with just RWD.

Sweet! I got the TT02 FRD 2wd version of that. Im not vary good but i still have a blast thinking i can drift. lol

just for a few. new hobby has been taking all my time :D
it needs camber sorted out. ive always preferred 0. and roll center is way to high. also picked up a set of MST super soft RWD tires I need to install.

Car looks great. I've often though about picking up a drifter, but I have nobody to run with, and I've grown tired of running cars and trucks around by myself as I just get bored eventually. I's still like to try the drift thing though, but I think I'd have to go AWD.

Any updates, Cory? I've been running mine (TT02) quite a bit lately and have been learning a lot. I would give serious consideration to getting rounded front tires. Way more predictable steering and it almost doesn't matter if you're running a lot of camber or caster.

update:

spent the rainy weekend last week working on this thing.

i started with getting rid of the 4x4 height the previous owner did (or maybe it came that was from Eagle Racing) it had a good 1/2"+ ground clearance:shock: and the arms were maxed out droop.

Top is stock:
so i found some short rod ends off of some old yeah racing 55mm shocks. unfortunately after i got all these swaped the ball only had a hole for 2.5mm screw:cry: so i poped them out and tried an axial plastic rod ball and they fit perfect"thumbsup" (pic taken before ball change)
also removed the top of the shocks to top them off, and found out all 4 were bone dry. filled them all with Axial 30wt.

the other problem was this thing only had one 51mm CVD in it.:roll: 1wd. that wasnt going to work too well.:ror: Luckily my buddy Tommy R somehow found a single 48mm CVD in Eagle racing brand.

luckily with the extra dog bone slot (stock 51mm side shown) with the 48mm CVD there was still a good extra 3mm of dogbone engagement. it fit perfect! Thanks T

next i got to work on camber. this thing was running 10* or so when i got it. i prefer 0* so using my new tires/glass table method, i got it all zeroed out and then front toe set.

also before this thing had the servo hanging way off the chassis, and a long extension on the servo arm. well i came across a picture of the stock chassis and noticed the servo was actually mounted with the arm mounted inboard. which fixed both issues.

Glad it worked out, Cory! It was a local guy who offered the axle to me. I was just the messenger. 8)

You may want to pick up some rounded front tires soon. I think it'll make the front way more predictable. So far, I'm loving my Eagle Racing car!:mrgreen:

looks good ,
i ran standard front tires on mine,
and a lot of camber, i liked they way it cross jacked the chassis at full lock,
but each driver looks for a certain feeling in their chassis.
