Just plain coolness, needs more yatta yatta! Such a great combo when hooked up. Should look awesome in low light with the trailer lights on. Even better when all lighting is energized I bet.

Now that is what I'm talking about a cool tow rig. Like the rims that match your trailer. The cover for the bed will be a nice touch.

Thank you, more yatta coming, for sure. I plan to punch the headlights and markers up front. Masked off for the tail's, but will need to make some buckets. I'm anxious to see it lit-up myself.

Thanks , she's a bit prettier, isn't she? I had the fronts left-over from the trailer build (had to buy a set to get the spare), and when I saw the Jato wheels, I just had to try stretchin' the "Strykers" over 'em. I'm super happy with the results. They really help "ice-the-cake" on my whole bi-polar truck plan.
I hope to stitch up an "old-school" cover, with snap-buttons and all, and hold it on with magnets.

She's gotta little more yatta now. I know some of you are following the "F100..." thread too, but I thought I should put some of these pic's here with the boat....

since this was the whole reason the Coffin Jockey (F100) was even "resurrected".
Even my good camera brightens up the lights too much. I'll have to remember (or read) how to set it up "shutter-priority" so I can cut down the exposure.
Not too bad, it was getting too dark for me to see well. Here's a quarter-away shot....

and the "seeya".

I made a "tonya" for the 'Jockey today.

I got her a "jacket" stitched up to match the boats "trench-coat".

I want to put "snaps" on it, but it's gonna be tough .... we'll see.

Thank you , turns out they both "GO" pretty well too.
I took some fresh pic's as the sun set, so here's an up-to-date shot. The new leds in the truck are an improvement. The mirrors and 'pipes help too.

I decided to let the boat breathe a little too.

Thank You, I've loved woodworking and finishing for about 40 years.
It, like RC building, is good for my sanity.
That yacht is quite beautiful also, sir. If that is your handiwork, then you are indeed a Master Woodsmith. If I had a toy like that to "play" with, the RC's (and most everything else) would feel rather neglected, I'm afraid.
All three phases of this project have been extremely fun, and just keep getting more-so. I definitely think you should build a scale version. Good mind therapy, or at least a fun way to go crazy.

You guys are killing me, with the wood boats. As a kid to age 30 may dad and bro restored multiple Chris craft wooden cruisers 28 ft 30 ft 36 ft. I miss the smell of the mahogany and the rocking to sleep hearing the waves lapping the hull. Seeing yalls work makes my think of those years.

Jump in, bro' !! Ah yes .... Chris Craft , hmmmmm ....... you can find some nice scale ones, or kits .... or just build one.
You get the same smells from the little boats, the sanding, the lacquer. It's therapeutic.

..... but I wouldn't advise sleeping on-board.

Hey, that beast would look good with a Chris Craft ... or like a "Cajun Commando" style air-boat or somethin' behind it. You should go for it!
...and show us
