Where do you get those 2 wheel drive bodies? My father in law has a 1:1 puller and I would like to maybe build him a scale one to match his real one.

I don't know anything about pullers. Although I'd really like to get into it myself. But I've seen some post about a lot of guys getting stuff from here..... http://www.angelfire.com/pa/hootchas/ |

Thats cool.. i just found out that Finishline Rc is now carrying the puller chassis... ill hit him up first and then go from there... i also emailed Hooters for a price quote on a gearbox and such... chassis wise... what tends to be the ballpark as far as a price range? |

350-400 for a roller. The truck pictured with all the cells actually is not one that pulls 600 pounds, it's closer to 100-150 pounds. The ones that pull 600 are called the 2WD Open II, and can have up to 28 "D" cells. They pull on carpet. The pictured truck is in the insane class, and runs on dirt. Also, many diesels need cowl induction hoods. There are a good many fellow 6.5 enthusiasts that've mounted intercoolers on top of the engine, and use cowl induction hoods to get the air over the IC. A belated congrats to Jeff on his 2007 County Line R/C Pullers' Club Winter Super Pull concours victory, that's one nice looking rig. Just wondering if y'alls are comming down for the '08 Super Pull this year? Last edited by RCpullerdude; 10-17-2007 at 06:06 PM. |
