So, getting bored with my SC10 in stock SCT form... want to do something stupid with it.  I'm having trouble with the axle nuts though. The stockers are 8/32 and the nut won't fit into the SLW-type hubs. Are there any other axle shafts that will fit in place with a 4mm threaded shaft so I can secure the wheel better? I want to run these wheels bad... and maybe some different 2.2's in the rear. |

Having trouble mounting the rear wheels due to the HUGE 8/32 nut for the SC10 axle... any ideas on how I can secure these suckers? THe fronts are fine with the stock Axial 1.9's, but I cannot get a driver down the IDF hub to hold on to the nut.  |

I like the idea. I have a extra slash or rustler platform im trying to figure out what to do with. Been thinking about some sort of jeep or rat rod 2wd trophy thing

anymore on this little project? I have a little traxxas bandit drag car that I wanted to run a coupe or rat rod body on but a rat willys jeep sounds cool enough to get me thinking |

I got the body mounted as low as I can while keeping the side bumpers on, I might remove them. I got the Axial wheels mounted on the rear by flipping the wheels inside out and using a short slw hub. I still had to use a set of pliers to get the nut on though. The front tires need some solid foams and glue, but I took it on a blast in the street. It's a riot. The Losi tires are soo wide it won't spin them on pavement without toasting the spur. It handles amazing, but dipping into turns and steering hard enough, the front tires want to eat the fenders for lunch. I might trim them or find a way to push the wheels out more. I love the thing, but might get a second body and redo it, as I had hacked up the bed area for a previous project that didn't work out so well.  |

Also, the fenders of the body fit perfectly between the tires at full compression... there's no turning after that lol

Thats cool and deffinitly different. I have this thing laying around and really wanted to build a rat rod. The measurements for the wheelbase and width dound perfect. Need to order a shell up
