I just saw a video of a thing RC related i would like to have ( but it is not RC )

Must be the perfect way to shred those RC parts for easy transportation.

I have a pretty varied collection of RC cars, I mostly enjoy building them and bashing or crawling.

I have a somewhat varied stable, and...if you'll excuse stretching the definition of 'RC' a bit...a sizeable one. Asterisk indicates models that will function if pressed, double asterisks indicate models I operate frequently.

Traditional RC:

1x micro drone** Saw this thing at WM for 40 bucks, bought it on a whim. Thing's only about two inches square, flies pretty good too.

1x Hobbico NexSTAR 46 ARF* If I put fuel in it, charge up the Rx pack, and give it a go, itt'l taxi around. But there's damage to the covering on the wings and I've never been formally buddybox'd, so it's never been aloft.

1x CEN MT2 My first hobby grade RC. Worn out so badly that it became more cost effective to retire it, but it has too much sentimental value for me to throw it out/scrap it. Someday I'll restore it.

1x Kyosho Mad Cruiser GP** Newest addition to the fleet, bought it as an x-mas gift for my dad. Have gotten two tanks through it.

1x AE NTC3 rally-mod** My primary RC and hilariously fun. Love this thing. Built it when the CEN wore out, have had it for 8 years or so.

1x Parrot AR.drone2.0*(ish)It flies now, but holy hell is smartphone control a terrible idea, so this thing's grounded until I get around to getting a MiruMod board shoved in and have it bound to my DX-6i. Also, I'm not much of a drone person myself, someone else got me this as an x-mas gift

1x MR-01 Mini-Z Well...ok I have about 2/3rds of one. H-plate, motor pod, rear wheels, body, transmitter are all MIA, and I'm pretty sure that's because the FETs let the magic smoke out at one point. I don't know if I want to try to get it going again or gut it to use as a basis for a custom build or just give up on it.

1x HengLong ZTZ-99 Airsoft** It's my most recent acquisition and is what my better half requested when I floated the idea of getting her an RC to run when I've got my NTC3 out and my dad's got the Mad Crusher out.

1x HeliMax AxeCX Nano.*? I've, honestly, misplaced it. But I bet if I found it, found its tx, found its battery, and got everything charged up it'd fly again.

1x Tamiya Hornet.* It even has the old MSC and the old two stick AM radio. I could literally just plug this 7.2v NiCD that came from the ZTZ99(I put a 2s 4200mAh 45c lipo in that) into the Hornet, get 8 AAs into the transmitter, throw a 6v Rx pack in the car(It lacks any sort of BEC), and it would run. As such, I've marked it as fully operational, but I've no plans on actually running it until I can modernize it with a mild brushless motor roughly equivalent to the 540 brushed motor it came with/still has, a lipo capable ESC, a 2s lipo, modern steering servo, and new tires as the old ones are dry rotted and cracking.

Applying a broader brush to the definition of 'RC', I also have a sizeable fleet of between 10 and 15 N scale locomotives. Not really RC in the traditional sense of me holding a transmitter to control them, but at the same time, they are remotely controlled models. Equal mix of analog DC and DCC, but I'm shifting that more and more towards total DCC as time goes.

As for controlling everything? My main transmitter...and the one I plan on getting all of my models bound to eventually...is my DX-6i. Maybe. Or possibly I'll ugprade to a Futaba 6J instaed. The DX-6i is starting to show its age, after all, and I like that the Futaba protocol is surface or air agnostic. With the Spektrum radio I have to bind to air receivers(Currently have an AR6100e in my NTC3). I use the elevator channel for throttle/brake and rudder for steering, to preserve the ratchet throttle for aircraft. I loathe pistol-grip, don't suggest I buy one I'll just ignore it. I've used them(Mad Crusher still has its factory 2.4g pistol radio and it's meh), they're not for me.

Power wise, I'm a nitro nut to the core. Electric bores me and if I can I will have a model that's glow or gas powered. I've been daydreaming and drooling about a glow conversion for one of Tamiya's 1/14th semi trucks since I discovered them 15 years ago(Prolly a Globe Liner), it's a large part of why I've only now gotten interested in scale/trail rigs, et-al. I just love my piston engines. I'll still run electric but if I have a choice in the matter I won't think twice about going glow.

6. 3Racing Sakura Zero S

A couple of my old (and long gone) Traxxas bashers, a Stampede & E-Maxx (before and after certain mods were done), and finally an ancient Associated RC10T2 with a cut-down KTM Junior Motocross fender as a body (old picture taken with crap camera):
