This one will be getting a Protoform J71 body, eventually. I want it to look like a couple Javelin AMXs I built in the Forza games.

Here's a pic of one of my Forza Javelins, should be very similar to this when I'm done, other than the hood.....that will be a gloss finish and I think I will be lazy and make the bumpers body color instead of a chrome or silver finish. |

This is a great looking car. Traxxas is getting into the scale game. The Slash Raptor and the GT both look awesome. And now there's the TRX-4 D110. If you don't want the Traxxas body there's tons of other on road options with a much lower price that you could have started with. Any reason why you chose the Traxxas? | |

| Re: Welp, just picked this up today. I'm eventually going to swap in an older sensor port equipped VXL3s syste out of my old, all graphite Eletric 4-Tec that I built from a kit back in '99, since any of the E4T parts that aren't shared with the Nitro are hard to come by, especially the unobtanium graphite parts.

| Re: Welp, just picked this up today. Maybe I can get around to shooting new pics to load up, especially now with the Javelin body. I'm now working in a call center and no longer at the hobby shop I worked for, so I actually get holidays like this off with out having to request is a month in advance now |

Dang, I couldn't afford to work at a LHS. I'd end up paying them to work there.. Soo.. How did you find the Javelin body?? Love to find something different to run, ya got the Javelin body and I have a 70 Charger body with no chassis. Well, I do have a painted 70 SuperBird body with no chassis.. Mmmm, wonder if it would fit?? painted it up 10yrs ago and waiting on a chassis... Mmmmmm. Might need to find some Mopar style rally wheels. |

I almost got a 200 for my G/F but the sales person wasn't very helpful so she got a Honda H-RV.. A very Meh Honda but that is what she wanted. Pretty fast looking Lil Bugger Ya got there. Watcha running for Battery? I'll have one in a week or two and throw on a new body. Bought the red body just for a shelf Queen look. |

When I bought that 200 5 years ago, I was specifically looking for a low option car that had the 3.6l V-6 and 6-Speed auto from the Minivans in it. I wasn't able to get a completely stripped car, as it does have the more basic version of their HD radio (worth every penny!) and 18x7 7 spoke rims, which I could have done without, as the tires on them were these cheapo Goodyears that probably only had slightly better grip than what was round 50 years earlier and were probably about as useful as the tires that tended to come on the old school Musclecars. Been a solid car though, 65k on it now, only warranty issue was the wiring for the active headrest and I did get a couple reflashes for the trans computer (it didn't like to downshift, ever and still tries not to unless you kick it pretty good. Since that V-6 has 283hp, the car does get up and run pretty nicely too! On the 4-Tec, it's still stock other than the body, I'm going to swap the Velineon from my old, hard to find parts for all graphite chassis (which was had to get new 18 years ago), belt drive 4-Tec at some point. A couple weeks after I pre-ordered mine, I ordered the J71 body and a Traxxas 7600mAh 2s lipo for it. It's still on the first charge from a couple months ago and I've bashed it some in the parking lot at work last week and will do it some more this week (weather permitting) beyond what I did tonight, and it will still likely be on that same charge! This one was originally a blue GT, bit I just stashed that off to the side for now. |
