I scored a cheap CXT while I was trying to locate cabs for the 6-door CXT build. Stuck the cheapo cab and bed on the shelf for later use, as I still have another stock CXT on the shelf too. After finding two cabs for the 6-door. Haha. The theme for this popped into my head while researching wheels for the 6-door.

We'll see how close I can get to this look.

My local HobbyTown runs road course Tamiya semis. Pretty fun to watch them bounce around the track.

I've seen the larger semi rigs but they are pricey and tough to get in the US I believe. Guess I'll build my own.

whats the plan for the back half of the chassis? I might have a set of frame rails you could cut up.

Nice. I seen some cool 1/10 semi trucks for sure. I would the bigger FG but don't have $1,500 laying around at the moment.

Find me some 2.2, 4.3" tall skinnies and super singles and I'll run em. It took me about 2-3 weeks of internet searching and measuring to settle on the 2.2 Dune A/T's. I think they are the closest in looks and height combo that I am going to find, for the look I want. I could be wrong. I googled imaged searched, a lot.

The chassis rails are as far as they are going to go and will get trimmed down a little as well. Going for the same look out back as the two 1:1 pictures I posted.

I could be interested in the frame rails for another large scale build. Text me.

I just found out that our (not so)local track to me is still up n running... And they have two!-2! Tamiya semi-truck classes!

Boooooo! They're "box" stock classes. Can't even upgrade driveshafts to aluminum or Anything...can only run aftermarket servo nd tx/rx...nothing else

I am trying to keep it light and everything down low. I am going to guess 15lbs RTR. Just waiting on a new shipment of 1/4" tube to keep on building.

I don't get it... How is this motor going tocarry this rig with decent speed...And satisfy you with run time? It looks way too small... Is Mr. JRH on to something with brushless...i've been running brushed for a few years...never had any good luck with brushless up until my latest investment...started out with them in 2007 no matter how i tuned them they burned up....
