Here is a tease of what I being slowly working on Thing 1 and Thing 2, need to order more parts waiting until next month, cause I forgot some parts and still waiting for parts

I'm going with 2 Tekin Redline 13.5 turn brushless motors and 2 Mamba Max Pro esc's out my stock pile and call it good instead buying more new brushed motor's and Esc's

I ordered the D parts tree that has the spur gear cover and motor mount and never got it, get a refund and need to re-order the D parts again

Need another set of shocks, 4 battery posts, 2 axle shafts and the spur gear cover and motor mount

Hey Shinchu

Thank you for the for the wheel sets, let me ask you, I would evenly space the rim in the tire and glue it Correct ??

I used tape when I made my 2 sets out of plastic pipe and could evenly space them, just playing around on my TA02

The pipe wheels would spin off the rim but not come completely off

Aw i forget what we used back in the day to hold tires on... try a strip of double sided tape in the middle of the wheel, the slide thw wheel on until the outter edge of the tire and wheel are flush. You dont want tire hanging past the edge of the wheel, not scale and just odd looking.

These babies ready to slide yet?! Whats next?

Oh btw those black 5 spokes where brand new from my old tt01r kit.
Figured they are closer to what came with the ta02? Since you wanted original tamiya wheels.

The mesh wheels came on my tc3 when i bought it used. Decent practice wheels!

I'm just down to the little stuff like

2 sets of battery posts for the Lipo holders Ebay has alloy ones

2 Robison Racing steel 22 tooth pinions Ebay has 2 different shaft sizes

1 set of shocks Eagle Racing aluminum bodied for $17.00

1 set of upper turnbuckles Eagle Racing

1 front shock tower with ball ends for turnbuckles Eagle Racing

1 rear shock tower with ball ends for turnbuckles Eagle Racing

2 Gyro's need to research for a easy to use and reasonable priced unit

2 high speed servo's need to research what's popular and reasonably priced

for the gyros... not sure if you want to go this far but i got the radiolink with gyro integrated receiver. its a GREAT unit and I'm going to get more rx for my drifters so i can use one remote for everything.
https://www.amazon.com/RC4GS-Transmi...ilolink+remote

took a while to ship but WELL worth the wait!

Wow that's crazy, I see they also sell separate gyro receivers, hoping that one radio will run 2 RC's

It's not like a FlySky radio is it, I had the GT3B and hated mine, it was unlocked and updated incorrectly and it never worked the way it was supposed too

I was going to reset with my sledgehammer, I sold it before I smashed it, nothing but problems and a pain in my ass

I've been using this combo for my ascender, about 1 hour of runtime and 2 hours of adjusting nearly infinite parameters. for $60 its one HELL of a radio! and yes gyro is fully functional. forgot to turn it off the first few times i tested my ascender. it wiggled like hell when i grabbed it off my bench i was like "WHOAA!! WHAT THE FU- oh yeah, gyro hahaha" so yeah it works great man. highly recommended. somebody in my ascender build thread suggested it.

i got small hands and i can still drive one handed while i made a couple run vids. i need to make new ones actually...

You see what happens when its cold and shitty outside and I get bored, I ran across my Wraith parts box, when I cleaned out the garage to work on my Yoter

So I took what I had and built this 1.9'' Wraith using a Holmes Hobbies 13.5 turn Trail Master brushless motor and a Mama Max Pro Esc, also using a brand new aluminum SCX10 tranny with steel gears and steel outputs

I only need 2 battery trays, I had everything else and still some parts left over

That's how I did it on my 2.2'' Wraith, 1 battery tray upfront and 1 battery tray for the esc in the back,

Its got a wider stance since I added a set of wheel wideners, I don't remember how wide they are

I might buy another set of the RTR panels cause I like the original green Wraith Axial panels cause

I used green paint on the seats and shift knobs, they tie together better than the yellow panels there a extra set, I bought cheap along time ago

A wheeling I will go, I'm already loving this 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, it has the 5.2 Litre fuel injected V8, with a Tilt wheel, Cruise Control, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Leather interior, but my Favorite is the Heated Seat Warmers

That's right my Ass is going to be Toasty, Yeah Baby

we will be here when you come back to RC ;)

nice jeep! i have really been trying to decide between a ZJ or XJ. zj is nice and comfy, but people say its iffy on the trails. not sure why, because unibody i guess. everyone loves their XJ's but prices are going up here in CA. (like everything else here)
i have 1 year left on my scion FRS lease. i better figure it out soon...

looking forward to seeing where your ZJ goes... just keep it off the roof lol

Nice score with the Jeep.

Those Outlaw wheels were my all time favorite from the 90's!

I just want to lift the Jeep 2'' to fit 10.5'' X 31'' tires on my Outlaw rims, and found this $129 2'' lift kit,

Comes with 4 pucks, the transfer case drop kit and the front and rear track bar mounts and will need 2'' longer shocks

And will need to price a set 2'' longer shocks, anybody here heard of Zone Offroad

Cause they have 2'' longer shocks that are Hydraulic shocks for $34.68 a piece or Nitro shocks for $41.50 a piece

Just never heard of Zone Offroad and there pretty cheap

Here you go, its RC related

I replaced the Power valve and Accelerator pump diaphragms in the Weber on the Yoter and lost the E-clip the holds the choke assembly to the choke butterfly's

The E-clips are a pain in the ass to take off and put on, So I took a small Tamiya body clip and placed it were the E-clip goes and its tight and I have extra's

And it now makes working on the Weber easier, I mentioned this fact to Weber and Redline there distributor and neither give a shit or could tell me the dimensions to the E-clip or the shaft

So I fixed it my self with what I had on hand, and have cold started and have drove the truck, and the clip is still there so far
