Total noob question, but why do the rear wheels on a Slash tow inwards?

It's not just the Slash, most IRS rc's and at least one solid rear axle rc (Kraken Vekta 5) have built in rear toe. It gives the tire more "bite" which equates to more forward drive on loose surfaces and which also makes the car a bit more predictable in a turn (less likely to spin out) at the expense of more rolling resistance (higher motor temp, shorter battery life, and lower top speed... all to a fairly minor extent) and faster tire wear on hard surfaces. If you want to adjust it, Tekno makes a rear axle/hub conversion kit with 4 different toe settings (2 sets of rear hub carriers that can be reversed) so you can take some toe out if you run on asphalt/carpet, or add some for more loamy surfaces.

Just an FYI - it's toe-in not tow in. I only noticed the misspelling now.

If it's a Ford it will certain get a tow-in though. :lmao:
