Yeti XL or Losi LST

Looking for something big/go fast to play in the snow this winter at home. My cousin has offered to sell me his mint LST for $100 for helping him move here to Tennessee or get a yeti xl off of Craigslist for $400. The lst I would convert over to brushless if I got it.
Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: Yeti XL or Losi LST

If I was looking for a fast tough mt style id look at arrma outcast, proline roller or 3xl-e. In that order only because the Arrma RTR electronics are pretty good (great motor/sorta good servo)

Re: Yeti XL or Losi LST

My friend has the yetixl... Cant run it for more than 5 min without it breaking. Thats after 2 years and hundreds of $ in hop ups. It just sits there. He also has an arrma kraton that is a total beast once he put about 300 in hop ups in it. My xmaxx needed Unlimited Engineering shock shafts, and rpm rear carriers, and now is super durable. Bad landings from 30 ft up over and over and nothing breaks...

Thanks for the replies everyone, even if my original question was not answered. My cousin ended up giving me the LST for Christmas. Just installed the electric conversion kit from Losi and the thing rips.
I was looking for something to build on the cheap. I know about the super baja rey, and the other rigs out there. Slowly this LST will be modified into some sort of basher/bouncer.
