| Ballistic17's Exo Terra 2.0
Had a Axial Exo about 5 years ago. Built it up and ended up selling it. Now 5 years later wanted another one. Well found a kit version that was assembled and never ran. So I had to pick it up. Have a few plans to upgrade parts that I can find. Here's some pics from the previous owner. First Exo build thread... LeeSc10" Exo Terra |

Exo showed up along with the Mamba X and Hitec servo. A CC 3800kv sensored motor will accompany the Mamba X. Have a set of Gear Head RC 2.2 light weight U4 race wheels with 1.9 Pitbull Rock Beast's on them I might run. Has a set of gMade XD shocks front and rear. Also have some VP upgrades coming... Front caster blocks Steering knuckles Front shock tower Front skid plate Bell crank Steering rack Double sheer steering posts Have a set of Axial unis coming to. Still want to get the Axial locker for the front and rear and center diff. Or will experiment with diff fluids. Will also be putting on a Ironman FreqEsKinz wrap and will be working with Powershift Rc Technologies for a killer light set up. |

Put the Gear Head RC U4 rims on. They look good from the side but made it a bit wider. Still undecided if I will use them. Have some Proline 2.2/3.0 F-11 bead-locs coming and some Pitbull Rock Beast tires to try too. Last edited by Ballistic17; 02-20-2018 at 09:35 PM. |

| Re: Ballistic17's Exo Terra 2.0 Fellow Exo owner so I am following closely. It does push them quite a bit wider. Will hold off judgment til you try the Prolines. Still running the stock wheels on mine b/c I haven't seen anything that I like better. Thanks for the pix. Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk |

I just read your first Exo build and realized I remember that pic from RC Car Action. That was a great shot of it and an impressive list of upgrades. Those were some wheels that looked great. I am guessing they're long out of production now? Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk |

Man, those Gearhead wheel look amazing from the side but have to agree it is a bit wide. (And why not use the standard SLW hubs on these wheels...) Last edited by calcagno45; 02-19-2018 at 09:27 PM. |

| Re: Ballistic17's Exo Terra 2.0 Yeah I like the look. Gear heads are a different bolt pattern that slw hubs. And if you get 2.2 rims to close the rub the steering knuckle. Mine are as close as I can get.

I saw on another thread that Vanquish was working on a new Yeti bulkhead that looks really nice. Still testing at this point, but that would be an interesting upgrade to both ends of the Exo. Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk |

How hard was it to put a Freqeskin in the Exo? It has so many angles/curves... Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk |
